Wellground cria and the touchy-feely feeling
10/07/2009 by Rosemary.
I am trying to get some nice pictures of the cria to put on the page but my camera really isn’t good enough. So, in the meantime, if you want to see some fantastic babies look at Rob’s Blog for July 8th at www.wellground.com - he has updated with some beautiful pictures and in his on-line shop there are these amazing silk scarves with felting pieces in them that look just like slices of banana! Incredible!
My fleece experiments will be starting in earnest soon and I am trying to think of what to make. Hot water bottle covers has been suggested and I think that is a good place to start but I need them to be different and special so it is the design I’m working on, not so much the colour but how I could vary the texture in some way. The important part of a water bottle cover to me is how it feels as you snuggle up to it so I am wondering around touching everything in the search for inspiration!
The boys have all had their check over this evening and they are looking good. Young Spike will have to become a wether soon - he’s a big lad!!
