Spit offs
Daring Dave and Super Chef Pat visited this afternoon which meant a welcome break from waste management - they also brought lunch which was delicious. Dave proved to be a bit of an acrobat on Sam’s rope swing and Pat looked quite at home in the caravan supplying us all with tea and coffee. Carl now has everything ready for haymaking - apart from the weather! Heavy rain at times in the middle of the night kept me worrying about the cria but they were fine this morning. Yoda now has competition from Frank who is also very keen on neck wrestling and pouncing on the ladies! We tried some spit offs with Spike and he was desperate to have a go but no-one was having anything to do with him. Flamenco, mated to Wellground Buckingham, was particularly abusive towards him which looks good. Poor old Islay attempted an escape but that could just be her - I am not totally convinced but we will have to get her scanned later and see. More photos tonight with Alf, the suri, first.
The sheep are desperate to join in with everything but unfortunately, in photos, they develop that blue eyed look!
Looking at the girls tonight they seem quite a lot all of a sudden!

Once again our visit was most enjoyable it was good to see Yoda again, My, hasn’t he grown.
Dave’s acrobatic perfomance was good entertainment value, but he ought to be a little more careful. I’m sure he forgets his age sometimes.
I am happy to see my culinary expertise was well appreciated by all and sundry, so while walking on cloud nine I thought I would aim for the ultimate and make the tea and coffee.
