Rain, rain, rain!

Rain, wind, more rain, stronger winds.  It has been quite a stormy day.  The girls and the cria have all been shivering; I opened up the barn and they all shot in, settled down, munched hay.  Every time the rain stopped they went out and then raced back for cover as soon as the rain started again.  During a brief break in the rain this afternoon the cria went mad, they pronked round and round doing side ways kicks and little jumps and waving their necks - I think all that sitting in the barn was too much for them.  This evening we need to tie down the greenhouse again.  We are on the top of a hill and it does get a trifle windy.  It gets a little worrying when the frame begins to lift as you are watering the tomatoes.
